Educational Qualification:

• Junior Engineer Electrical: Full time/Regular BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from recognized University.

• Junior Engineer Mechanical: Full time/Regular BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from recognized University.

• Junior Engineer Instrument & Control: Full time/Regular BE/B.Tech in I&C Engineering from recognized University.

• Junior Engineer Environment: Full time/Regular BE/B.Tech in Environment Engineering from recognized University.

• Junior Engineer Metallurgy: Full time/Regular BE/B.Tech in Metallurgy Engineering from recognized University.

• Junior Engineer Civil: Full time/Regular BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from recognized University.

• Junior Engineer Instrument Mechanic: Full time / Regular Diploma in Instrument & Control from recognized University. There is no minimum percentage requirement.

Age limit: 

      (As on the date of  06.11.2017) 35 years for UR candidates. 40 years for SC, ST and SEBC Candidates Relaxation in upper age limit to other categories shall be given as under:

Application Fee (Non-Refundable): Category  Amount SEBC and UR Candidates  Rs. 500 /- SC/ST Candidates  Rs. 250 /-

Period of Engagement: Two Years as Vidyut Sahayak.

Selection Process:

Final selection will be based on Written Test & Interview.

Fixed Remuneration per month:

• 1st year – Rs. 21,550/-
• 2nd year – Rs. 23,550/-

GSECL VS & Mechanic Exam Pattern:

Vidyut Sahayak – Jr. Engineer: The question paper for the On-line test shall be consisting of 100 questions and the paper shall be of 100 marks for selection of candidates. “The Question Paper will be in English Language Only”. There shall be negative marking system and 1/4th mark for each wrong answer shall be deducted to arrive at total marks scored. The syllabus of a test will be displayed on website subsequently.

There shall be negative marking system and 1/4th mark for each wrong answer shall be deducted to arrive at total marks scored. The syllabus of the test will be displayed on a website.

      Interested & Eligible Candidates are required to apply  ON-LINE  Application only through http://www.gsecl.in.  The candidates shall have to generate application number by registering online by filling up the  Online  Application  Form and follow step by step instructions. Widow Candidates, if remarried shall not be given the advantage of the grace of 5 % marks. Further, Widow Candidates shall categorically state so and inform if they are remarried with necessary documentary proofs. Guidelines issued by GUVNL as per GoG directives for Reservation for Women and PH Categories shall be followed.

• Last date for online submission of application: 26/11/2017 (till 06:00 PM)
• The payment of fees shall be made at the Branches of State Bank of India on or before 28/11/2017 in case of fees paid through challan.
